India's Record-Breaking Young Voice

When Music Becomes Life
Music found Jnana Gururaj before she found it. Born on 23 September 2015 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, she began singing at the tender age of two β absorbing Carnatic melodies from her mother Rekha Kumari, a professional music teacher. By age two-and-a-half, she had mastered over 20 songs with background music, earning a place in the India Book of Records.
At just 3 years 5 months and 16 days old, she performed on Zee Kannada's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs Season 16, setting the Golden Book of World Record for the Youngest Singer to Perform in a Television Reality Show. Today, at age 10, she continues to enchant audiences across Kannada Classical (Carnatic), Devotional, and Kannada Folk (Janapada).
